26 and 28 Glannon Road are custom built new construction homes completed and sold in 2020. The properties are each on 10,000 sq ft lots with beautiful, deep, flat and completely usable backyards surrounded by privacy fencing. Each home contains 4,350 sq ft of finished living space and the homes were customized for the buyers who went into contract with CitiScape during the framing stage of construction.
These custom colonials were designed for entertaining and enjoying daily life with floor plans that were carefully designed for wonderful flow and function. The 1st and 2nd floors of both homes contain gorgeous hardwood floors and the buyers were assisted with choosing the floor/staircase/railing stain color. There are 9’ ceilings on all 3 levels although the bedrooms on the 2nd floor have 11’ tray ceilings and there is a 13’ tray ceiling in the primary suite.
The 1st floor features a 2-story entry foyer with extra large picture windows, a custom, open, stained hardwood stair case with wrought iron balusters, mud room at the garage entrance, dining room, a massive 17x31 family room/living room (the buyers were given the option to covert part of that space to a bedroom suite and both opted for the suite) with a flush mount gas fireplace and sliding glass doors leading to the patio. One buyer opted to create a gorgeous marble fireplace wall with custom mantel. This area is open to the custom gourmet kitchen. The buyers were given their choice of island size and color as well as countertop, backsplash and other customizations including cabinet size and color and drawers/drawer organizers plus custom hood as desired. There is also a passthrough butler pantry between the kitchen and dining room with a beverage refrigerator and custom lighted glass door cabinets on one side and a full-height pantry cabinet on the other. The 1st floor as finished also enjoys a bedroom suite and one of the buyers opted for beautiful French doors to that room as it is used as an office/playroom. The suite enjoys a full bath with LED mirror and the 1st floor also boasts a lovely powder room, also with an LED mirror. There is plenty of closet space as well. The home is bright and inviting with Anderson windows and recessed lighting throughout.
The 2nd floor features 4 generous-sized bedrooms with tray ceilings, attic access tucked away in a large laundry room as well as a hall bathroom with a double vanity, LED mirrors and a pocket door leading to the toilet and tub/shower combination. The primary suites feature a Soaring 13 ft tray ceiling, extra large his and hers walk-in closets, a fireplace and a luxurious spa bath with a double vanity, LED mirrors, a private water closet, a large soaking tub and a customized shower.
The basement is an expansive 1,350 sq ft with 9’ ceilings throughout almost all of it. CitiScape added a custom feature with lighted glass shelving for displays, a full bathroom with LED mirror, and storage room. The option to add a gym/media/bonus room was offered.
The exterior features a California-style concrete and grass patio, landscaping and a 2 car built-in garage.
PROJECT SPECIFIC OPTIONS
The buyers were given the ability to choose lighting fixtures which CitiScape installed for them. They were given options for tile throughout the homes as well as the color of the plumbing fixtures and door hardware. CitiScape also treated the buyers to a color consultation with a designer so they could choose their paint colors. We stay close with our buyers who know they can contact us for any little question and we will come over to help them any time. Designing/building these homes and working closely with our buyers was a wonderful experience and we cherish our relationships.
