Lawrence H. Gerstein is a seasoned construction manager and developer with over three decades of experience in the custom luxury home building industry. As the Principal of CitiScape Builders Group, he has become a trusted name in high-end residential and multi-family construction throughout New Jersey and New York.
Known for his hands-on approach, Lawrence excels in identifying new development opportunities, overseeing projects from concept to completion, and ensuring superior craftsmanship. His expertise in design-build projects has set a benchmark for quality and innovation in the industry.
Lawrence’s extensive career spans leadership roles at prominent construction and development firms. As the Principal of CitiScape Builders Group, he has led projects worth over $400 million, leveraging his skills in contract negotiation, budget management, and project execution.
His previous roles include Senior Project Manager at Leeding Builders Group, where he managed a landmark ultra high-end condominium project along NYC’s High Line, and Project Executive at The J Companies, where he guided a $125M LEED Silver-certified high-rise development.
Across all his roles, Lawrence has demonstrated a proven ability to deliver complex projects while maximizing value for stakeholders.
Lawrence holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. This technical foundation has contributed to his analytical approach and problem-solving skills in construction and project management.
